Congratulations go out to our colleague Jeff Bouton for his record breaking digiscoping year. Seemingly the first person to ever digiscope >1,000 bird species (~10% of the world's birds) in a single year in 2023. In January 2024, we attended the Morro Bay Birding Festival in Morro Bay, CA and celebrated the return of the Space Coast Birding & Wildlife Festival in Cape Canaveral, FL. The latter had been inactive since January 2020 and we're happy to say this event also featured the return of our dear colleague Robert Wilson who worked the booth and co-presented a digiscoping workshop here. Welcome back Robert we've missed you!
