Join the Peregrine Days Migration Celebration at Curry Hammock State Park in Marathon, FL on October 10, 2026.
Activities include informational displays, educational programs and field trips led by local Kowa representatives & park staff. birding field trips meet in the day use area at Curry Hammock State Park and are scheduled from 8:30 AM until noon.
October 10th is consistently the statistical peak of the Peregrine Falcon migration (see chart below), so afternoon activities will revolve around the hawkwatch as volunteers assist at spotting migrating birds of prey and offering assistance in identifying the birds passing overhead. Some loaner Kowa Optics will be on hand and available to use on the hawkwatch and walks for those interested in seeing the optics.
